Dr. Sagar Kumar
Dr. Sagar Kumar was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in General Business with a concentration in Health Sciences from the University of Florida. He went on to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. To further advance his clinical expertise, Dr. Kumar completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health.
Dr. Kumar is passionate about helping his patients enhance their quality of life, appearance, and overall oral health. He takes pride in providing personalized, comprehensive care that focuses on both function and aesthetics.
Having spent many years growing up in Nashville, Tennessee, and Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. Kumar embraces a diverse background and community spirit. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, going to the beach, exploring different cuisines, weightlifting, and watching sports.

My name is Sherry Ruth. I am from California and have been residing in Tennessee for the past 6 years, and I love it!
I am married and enjoy watching the Tennessee Vols’ College women’s softball, along with college Football and, of course, the Tennessee Titans!
Throw in a good ole country concert here and there, and I am a happy girl!!
I enjoy meeting all of our dental patients and treating them like family here at Schmitt Dental, I have 20 years in the dental field and love it!!!
